Documents

The application is only valid with the required original documents (no copies!). Therefore, we do not accept applications or documents send per email!

Please also know that processing applications can take several weeks. Therefore, we advise to hand in applications as soon as they are complete.

 

We ask for your understanding that due to the pandemic, office hours are limited. Therefore, applications with the required documents should be sent per post or put in the dedicated mailbox in front of our office. Appointments for submitting documents can only be agreed to in exceptional cases (e.g. if the size of the documents means that it is not possible to drop them in the mailbox). These measures are intended to help contain the pandemic and help protect the health of applicants and employees!

 

We would like to point out that, according to the Austrian University Act (Section 60, Paragraph 6), applications may only be submitted by the applicants themselves or by a person who is authorized to professionally represent parties in Austria. Applications submitted via an agency, for example, will be rejected!

Only complete (with all necessary documents) applications for admission can be considered for admission. Submitting incomplete applications can lead to longer processing times!

 

The following documents are required:

Application Bachelor or Diploma programme

  • Copy of ID card/ passport
  • Application for Enrollment for international students
  • Evidence of general qualification for university entrance: EITHER provided by the secondary school leaving certificate (=Matura) with school reports from senior School OR by an accomplished study program with the minimum study duration of 3 years (f.e. 3 year bachelor's program) with degree diploma and transcript of records (with ECTS or contact hours)
  • Language Certificate
  • Qualification Statement*
  • If applicable: evidence of university entrance examination (e.g. Spain (PAU), Turkey (ÖSYS), USA (SAT, ACT or AP)
  • If applicable: Transcript of Records (of studies already started)

 

Application Teacher Training programme

  • Copy of ID card/ passport
  • Application for Enrollment for international students

  • Non-EU-degrees: Syllabus of Master/ Diploma degree (with course desription as well as contact hours per Semester/ ECTS)

Annotation

  • *The qualification statement is not required for EU-/EEA citizen or applicants with a status equivalency.
  • If you have already received a studend ID number (Matrikelnummer) from an Austrian university, you have to state it on the application form. The student ID number will only be issued once in Austria. Therefore, it is valid for all Austrian universities.
