Application for admission

Before applying for admission to the University Entrance Qualification Examination (abbreviation SBP), you have to speak to the responsible advisor responsible advisor.

Admission procedure

You have to address your application for admission to the University Entrance Qualification Examination to the Rector of the University Graz (hereinafter referred to as Rector) and submit it to Academic Affairs. You need a CV especially stating your course of education and career. If applicable, applicants should also present a written declaration stating any failed University Entrance Qualification Examinations.

 

The advisor is responsible for proposing to the Rector as to when he/she regards all other requirements as fulfilled.

If prior education should not suffice for the programme in question, the officer may impose certain conditions on the applicant (e.g. to attend adult education courses, study introductory subject-related literature, take an exam on an introductory course at the University, amongst others).

 

When the applicant is admitted to the University Entrance Qualification Examination course, the Rector is responsible for determining the examination subjects of the University Entrance Qualification Examination based on the proposal of the relevant advisor. Secondary School Teacher Accreditation programme students will have to take both fields of studies into account.
