General information
Candidates wishing to enrol for a degree programme require a secondary school leaving certificate (Matura, A-levels), which in some case also require supplementary examinations depending on the selected programme.
This secondary school leaving examination can be substituted by participating in a limited subject-related University Entrance Qualification Examination course. Having passed this examination, students qualify for an individual programme (in some cases for a few closely related programmes).
The University Entrance Qualification Examination is not equivalent to a secondary school leaving examination and thus does not entitle students to study anything they wish.
The University Entrance Qualification Examination can only be taken for programmes offered at the University of Graz.
You can enquire at the university of applied sciences of your choice and find out which University Entrance Qualification Examination is required for a certain programme.
Students cannot take any partial examinations at our university for programmes at universities of applied sciences.
