Who is entitled to a UNIGRAZCard?

Only degree-programme and non-degree-programme students are entitled to a UNIGRAZCard. Co-registered students from other universities are not entitled to a UNIGRAZCard.

 

 

Do I have to pay for the UNIGRAZCard?

You do not have to pay for your first card. You only have to pay if you lose it, it is stolen or damaged or has to be replaced for some other reason.

 

How and where do i prolong my UNIGRAZCard?

 After paying your tuition fee to the University's account (please note: transfer of the fee may take up to 3-4 working days), you can prolong your UNIGRAZCard at one of our Service-Points.

  

What do I do if I lose my UNIGRAZCard?

 If you lose your UNIGRAZCard, please report this to the Lost&Found office (Annenstraße 19) who will issue a notice of loss. Moreover, you will have to pay a fee of EUR 15.

 

  • Where do I have to pay that fee?

Pay the fee in cash at the Accounting department (Halbärthgasse 8, cashier's desk) or per cash card directly at Academic Affairs office..

  • How do I get a new UNIGRAZCard?

Please come to the Academic Affairs office and bring your notice of loss, proof of payment of the replacement fee (if paid in cash) and an official photo ID (driver's licence, passport or identity card) with you. UNIGRAZCard will NOT be sent by post!

 

What do I do if my UNIGRAZCard is stolen?

 If your UNIGRAZCard has been stolen, you have to report it to the police who will issue a notice of theft. Moreover, you will have to pay a fee of € 15.00

Your UNIGRAZCard is a library card as well. You can get more information about using your card at the library at University Library.

 

Can I receive my UNIGRAZCard by post?

 UNIGRAZCard will NOT be sent by post!

 

Can someone else fetch my UNIGRAZCard for me?

 Please fetch your UNIGRAZCard personally. It is not possible to hand out the card to someone else because of privacy issues - even if they present a proxy.
