Students returning to university
Applicants who were registered for the first time at the University of Graz after 1990, but are currently not students at the university, have to come personally during the general admission period (all study programmes) or during the grace period (only master’s and doctorate’s programmes) to the Academic Affairs Office. You have to bring your student’s ID or another official photo identification.
A bachelor's degree does not automatically entitle ist holder to register for a master's programme at the University of Graz.

Degrees from other universities or educational institutions have to be assessed for equality. Please contact the Academic Affairs Office for clarification about further information.
For staring a non-consecutive master’s/doctorate’s programme, you have to hand in an application for admission. Information about applying for a non-consecutive master’s/doctorate’s programme can be found on our homepage under “Studying”, section “Studies”.
